I wish you would contribute to your blog more or if you've moved, let me know where so I can continue to read your thoughts. The idea of "roles" is a dated one and I prefer the idea of yin and yang. I agree that women and men play different parts in this sphere. Unfortunately, society and institutions that are not necessarily "ours" have created "roles" to not only define and determine who we are, but also to establish a system that works for the status quo. I follow a few blogs by women that talk about redefining our femininity and the power that lies within and NOT mistakingly aligning that "power" with maleness.
